Resumption of Regular Visas to India

(i) E-Tourist Visa under the three options (one month, one year and five years) which remained suspended since March 2020, shall stand restored to Belarusian nationals with immediate effect. Belarusian nationals will also be eligible for issuance of fresh e-Tourist visa.

(ii) Regular (Paper) valid Tourist visa issued to Belarusian nationals, which remained suspended since March 2020, shall stand restored. Fresh Regular (paper) Tourist Visa are also allowed to be issued by the Indian Missions/posts abroad to all Belarussian nationals.

(iii) The Government’s scheme to grant visa/e-visa (one month stay) to first five lakh foreign tourists on gratis basis will also continue. Gratis Tourist Visa/e-Tourist Visa of Foreign Nationals intending to visit India for tourism, will have to be utilized within 120 days from the date of issue of such Visa/ETA.  Gratis Tourist Visa/e-Tourist Visa will remain valid for single entry for up to 30 days from date of entry.

(iv) Belarusian nationals shall be permitted to enter India through Vande Bharat Mission, Air Bubble Scheme or by any scheduled/non-scheduled commercial flights as allowed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. However, entry through Land Border/Riverine routes will not be allowed.

(v) Travel of all such foreign nationals will be subject to protocol and norms related to COVID-19 as notified by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The latest guidelines for International arrivals in India may be seen here.
